Is Community Hub UK free?
Yes, completely free. No charges, subscriptions, or sign-ups required to use any feature. All services listed are also free or low-cost to access.
Is my information private?
Yes. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. The journal stores text locally on your own device only. Your postcode searches are not recorded. You are anonymous.
What if I can't find the service I need?
Try the 🔍 Search tab and type a keyword about your situation. Also try Citizens Advice (0800 144 8848) who can refer you, or Turn2us for benefits and financial services.
Are the phone numbers free to call?
Numbers starting with 0800, 0808, 116, 999 or 111 are free from UK landlines and mobiles. 0300 numbers are charged at local rates (usually included in mobile bundles).
How do I get emergency food help?
Contact the Trussell Trust to find your nearest food bank. Citizens Advice, your GP surgery, or your local council can all provide food bank vouchers.
What if I'm homeless or about to be evicted?
Shelter (0808 800 4444) provides free 24/7 housing advice. Your local council has a legal duty to help if you're homeless or at risk. Rough sleepers: 0300 500 0914.
How do I get free debt help?
StepChange (0800 138 1111), National Debtline (0808 808 4000), and Citizens Advice all offer free expert debt advice. Never pay for debt advice.
Do I need a GP to access mental health support?
No — NHS Talking Therapies lets you self-refer directly. Many charities (Mind, Samaritans, CALM) can be contacted without any referral. A GP can help if you need medication or specialist care.
Can I save services to come back to?
Yes — create a free account in 👤 My Hub. You can then tap 🔖 Save on any service card to keep it in your personal saved list.
